MOD Pizza is situated right in the Old Market Square. When you go in, you join a queue to get your pizza made with the toppings of your choice. There are lots of toppings to choose from including vegan cheese and you can have as many toppings as you like. You then pay and take a seat, The pizzas are queued up to be quickly baked in the stone pizza oven and then brought oven to your table.
There is a lot of risk of cross-contamination in their set-up so this isn't the place if that would bother you. The staff are using the same hands and utensils to handle meat but if you tell them you are vegan they should change their gloves. There are toppings kept in boxes under the counter that haven't been contaminated with any other toppings so you can ask them to use these.
It's more of a canteen than a restaurant and at busy times you are rushed through. The pizzas are good and inexpensive. Instead of pizza, you can have a bowl of salad made up of the various toppings.
